The Fachklinik am Kofel in Oberammergau is beautifully situated above the rooftops of Oberammergau in the middle of the Ammergau Alps Nature Park, just one hour south of Munich and Augsburg. The clinic was taken over by the Tonak, Schaknat and Grundnig families in 2007 and has been run with great personal commitment ever since. The relatively small size of the clinic compared to many other facilities makes it possible to provide individual and personalized care for our patients.

With the specialist areas of “cardiology, orthopaedics and pneumology“, we serve a broad medical spectrum, unique in Upper Bavaria, and our interdisciplinary cooperation, in which our psychologist is also involved, ensures comprehensive and sustainable treatment approaches.

Once you have been admitted to our clinic, you will define your rehabilitation goals together with our doctors. Together with our nursing staff and therapists, you will achieve your goals. We rely on state-of-the-art diagnostics and a wide range of therapeutic options.
