Internships during training as a physiotherapist (m/f/d)
Physiotherapists (m/f/d) primarily treat people whose physical mobility is restricted due to age or because of an illness, injury or disability. They also carry out preventive therapy measures. They convey a desire for movement.
The majority of our patients are in our specialist clinic for inpatient follow-up treatment. We treat our patients on an interdisciplinary basis in the fields of cardiology, pneumology and orthopaedics and build a bridge from the acute hospital to the everyday environment. We have a defined 3-week period for this, during which patients are highly motivated to improve their general condition.
The training takes place in a 3-year school-based course.
A total of 6 internships of five weeks each must be completed in various specialist areas during the training. An internship can be completed at the Oberammergau Health Center.
